hi folks

a sheath for a friend... how is possible to understand, he loves skulls!

veg tanned leather hand carved, dyed and sewn... one of the first carving project I've made.

Looks great! Good job with the dye. Did you resist the skull first or be very careful?

hi, thank you

both: I resist it with Super Shene before apply gel antique, but it doesn't work with the spirit dyes I got, so I had to be very careful and use very small brushes

Looks great. I especially like the way you matched the sheath colors to the knife colors.

thank you..

for the edges, first I grind with the belt grinder with P120... then by hand with P240 - 600 - 1200, then burnish applying water and rubbing with bone folder and finally dyed and finished with cream polish (with wax)

It's a cream polish with bees wax .. The name is Meltonian
