Johanna Report post Posted August 14, 2008 Got 20 grand to blow on a leather laptop? This one has the "Bentley" logo and that quilting you see on the cheap upholstery leather is supposedly "hand stitched". Ho hum. The laptop specs are mediocre (you can get a far nicer machine for >$500) but hey, it will match your car interior and shoes. And that's what it's all about, right? Who cares how it works when it looks so cool? Ugh. I'll pass on this one- I'd rather save for the Porsche. http://www.t3.com/news/t3-exclusive-ego-fo...y-laptop?=36215 Johanna
OutBackP Report post Posted August 14, 2008 Each is hand built, with authentic Bentley cross-over hand-stitching Wow I am sooo impressed, anyone know how to do the "Bentley cross-over hand stitch"? I think if I really tried hard I could make one for Rolls Royce with my special "Rolls Royce saddle stitch"
ETW Grumpy Report post Posted August 15, 2008 Let's see, come up with something absolutely rediculous, market it to extremely rich people, charge 40 times more than it's worth.......sounds like a great business model to me.
singteck Report post Posted August 16, 2008 Who ever that "hand-stitched" those should be fired. The stitching sure looks uneven and ugly. Or did they mean someone hand guided the leather through the sewing machine... so it's hand stitched? singteck

They should be sewed for false marketing Tom
