Either a knee operated or foot operated presser foot lift is fine. For me, I have a bit of a knee problem. Hurts to twist to the side to operate the lift, so for me, the foot operated lift is much better.

Thank you Wiz and Tom! so much so much! I really learned a lot from you guys here! :)

Yes, I went to try this machine today, is foot lift pedal (shoe shaped) is hooked up to the lifter arm on the back of the machine. and is good to hear from Tom about it, I saw a lot knee level lift, so naturally thinks knees level lift maybe better than foot lifter.

Will ask more question in another thread now.

I'd two to one rather have the foot petal over a knee lift !!!

Ususally you can get alittle more lift under the foot w/a foot lifter.

I tired both presser lifter this weekend, think both good. and Wiz, 8 foot pedals and 9 knee levers! my god! ^.^

How many stitches to the inch you get with that baby? :)

About 12 per inch, per second, on a good night, with at least 2 MGDs under my English bridle leather belt.
