I am sure you will love yours & I am glad its found a good home. @Jax may I ask about your setup for sewing rubber rein grips? I just bought a pile from Abbey England and was debating whether to sew the grips on nylon straps by hand or use a machine. Some old books recommend a pop stitch sewn by hand. Advice on thread weight, needle type, and stitch length appreciated. Quote
Members shoepatcher Posted March 22, 2022 Members Report Posted March 22, 2022 I would take the foot to someone with a 3D printer and have a prototype made out of plastic. Once that is done and you are satisficed, there are people out that with 3D printers that can print in metal. Cheaper thatn having it machined. If it works, get a couple made. People looking for the feet. glenn Quote
