Hey guys,

I wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself, I have been sewing for almost two years building gear out of Cordura and nylon webbing. Since I live about three hours away from any industrial sewing machine mechanic I have to search the web for information, and more than a few times I have landed here so I thought I should become a member. From the posts I have read this looks like a really nice group of people.

The other forums I frequent are Snipers hide and DIY tactical.

Welcome aboard! If you ever make it to the Portland/Vancouver give a holler. There's at least a couple of us down here.

Welcome. I'm over in Spokane.

I'm just south of you.

So, Scott, which end of the state are you in?

You must not be over on the Rainy side--I'm in Tacoma.

Looks like lots of active members here in Washington, I'm located in Sunnyside, the south central part of the state, which is about 200 miles from Spokane, Seattle and Portland.

I keep my eye on Craigslist for all three cities and am always looking for a good deal on a machine. I do need to start getting rid of some to make room for newer ones, most are just standard walking foot machines, a bartacker, a cylinder arm, and a 20" long arm. I don't have any heavy leather workhorse machines because up to this point I only do tarp work and build tactical gear.
