Members jessebeckham Posted August 30, 2013 Members Report Posted August 30, 2013 looks good to me. Are you going to put keepers on them? Quote
Members Jcrespojr Posted August 30, 2013 Author Members Report Posted August 30, 2013 I was thinking with the center bar buckle it wasn't needed. Quote
Ambassador pete Posted August 30, 2013 Ambassador Report Posted August 30, 2013 i like the tear drop shape to the holes! what did you use? Quote
Members Jcrespojr Posted August 30, 2013 Author Members Report Posted August 30, 2013 I found the punch in Japan. Quote
Members humperdingle Posted August 30, 2013 Members Report Posted August 30, 2013 i like the tear drop shape to the holes! what did you use? Me too - the holes get elongated through use anyway, so this looks cool. Quote
Members bdcoffey Posted August 31, 2013 Members Report Posted August 31, 2013 Nice! How will you finish? I would suggest a light coat of neatsfoot oil and let time and wear do the rest. Quote
Members rscow Posted August 31, 2013 Members Report Posted August 31, 2013 I'd put a keeper on. And my favorite belt is a double thickness one with neatsfoot oil. As it has aged it has really attained a great patina. I think the holes really look cool. Those groomsmen will really appreciate. Quote
Members leatherjunkie Posted September 1, 2013 Members Report Posted September 1, 2013 looks good. to me the belts are screaming for a stamping of some sort..... Quote
Members Jcrespojr Posted September 5, 2013 Author Members Report Posted September 5, 2013 Thanks for all the feedback I was gonna leave it natural and let it age on its own but I might try to the neatsfoot oil now. Quote
