Members bwillielv Posted September 2, 2013 Members Report Posted September 2, 2013 That is very cool! What size is it? Quote Custom Leather Fire Helmet Shields
Members benlilly1 Posted September 2, 2013 Author Members Report Posted September 2, 2013 The frame is 21" x 13". I had the option of turning it longways but thought it would be too squished and I'd have to come up with a different design to fit. Quote

Members SouthernCross Posted October 16, 2013 Members Report Posted October 16, 2013 Benlily, would you share what antiquing technique you used? Quote
Members benlilly1 Posted October 16, 2013 Author Members Report Posted October 16, 2013 SouthernCross, The main piece of leather is not dyed. I used super shene all over it and antiqued with the Eco flo antique gel since it wouldn't be open to the elements. I don't normally use the Eco flo but, I had it from a previous Tandy order so thought I would use it up. Quote
