Members uumpa74 Posted October 16, 2013 Members Report Posted October 16, 2013 Portable Walking Foot Sewing Machine, good for sewing leather, vinyl, denim and canvas, This machine will sew leather up to 3/8" thick. Perfect for do it your selfers, sailboaters, or crafters who want to sew heavy fabrics that a single needle cannot handle. The foot is split and alternates going up and down to facilitate bulky items moving through the machine. It has a hard case. Barely used. Belonged to my mother-in-law. She practiced on it, but never used it and it has been sitting in a closet ever since. No manual. Shipping UPS Ground. Shipping cost will vary depending on destination. Sewing machine located in Kissimmee, FL. Asking $250 plus shipping.

Do you know the heaviest thread and largest needle that this machine will handle? I want to use a machine like this to add decorative stitches to belts, wallets and watch bands.

Members TXAG Posted October 17, 2013 Members Report Posted October 17, 2013 That looks quite similar to my sailrite (I've read mine is a clone of this one) That is a really great price...I have the "Monster II" balance wheel on mine and it works quite well with thick materials. ..
