Members roys29 Posted November 4, 2013 Members Report Posted November 4, 2013 If you're a military rifle collector and leather crafter like I am you might find this article interesting. I made this sling for both my M1 Garand and Springfield 1903-A3. Brownells sells the frogs, but I have not found a supplier for the ring. Enjoy! M1907_Sling.pdf Quote

Members Madadh Posted November 4, 2013 Members Report Posted November 4, 2013 Nice, I need to replace some of the slings from collection and this will help greatly. Quote
Members Trevor Posted November 5, 2013 Members Report Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) I have a bender that is set up to bend these very rings. I have it on loan from a good friend. He did some slings and wanted me to do the leather part and he made a bender to make the rings. We did them in brass and they looked fantastic. I could do some if you are stuck. Would need to check that these are what you are after. I live in Auckland New Zealand so postage and a few bucks for the metal. Happy to make a few for you. cheers This one is 304 stainless 5mm thick. Can do Brass 3/16th's (have on hand) Edited November 5, 2013 by Trevor Quote
