Hi folks,

Here is a recently completed 16” x 11” x 4” double gusset, lock and hasp briefcase. The interior is lined with a micro suede fabric and has 3 mini pockets. The back has an exterior zippered pocket for a 13” Mac Book Air. It also has a bottom cross stitched handle, a shoulder strap and pad, and a set of brass feet.

Thanks for viewing. Your comments and critique are welcome!

That looks great. It's looking at stuff like this that got me to try leather working.

Thanks, groovy, benlilly and Misha. I can't stress enough what a help the forum has been. So many well written how to's and general pointers makes this my first stop when I've got questions on a build.

Wow! That came out beautiful! I love the overall design and like that you spent a fair amount of time on the details (lining, brass feet, bound edges). I also like the zippered back pocket... something I may consider doing on mine too.

Cheers,

Andy

Thanks, Andy. Yes, those details are where the time gets spent for sure. And, while it does try my patience , it sure gives a sense of satisfaction when it's done. Really enjoy your work - you've got some great stuff!

Thanks, Bob & Alphonse. I'm glad you liked it! That's one of the great things about the site... Plenty gets posted around here that challenges and inspires. I've certainly found it to be the case.
