Someone uses his wifes yogamat so next time your wife (assuming that you hav one) is out take hers, if she have one :deadsubject: . Otherwise you now get an idea where to start looking. I also heard that those foampieces used as childrens playmats are very good to glue together and sand to shape.

been using those guys for a few years now. i did go out and pick up a camping mat n a pinch this summer and was very happy with the result. they are also cut from closed cell foam

The best foam to use, in my opinion, is closed cell neoprene.
