Just stopping in to say hi. Ive been doing alot of reading on here for some time and I finally took the plunge. I came across a saddlemaker getting out of the business. I bought his whole operation, I have more stuff than I can shake a stick at right now! Over 250 patterns dating back to the early 1900's. Im a lieutenant with the city department and was looking for something to do at the fire hall while waiting on calls. I found it!

Im also a horsetrainer and farrier on my days away from the firehall, been doing this for nearly 15 years now.

It all started years ago while I was on a ranch in Nebraska and one of the hands helped me make my own set of chinks. I still wear them today!

Hoping to learn and get better from the apparent craftsmen/women on here!

Thanks

Andy

Hello from MS, Lieu. I just started doing leather work so I could make custom leather fronts. Decided I could tinker with it between calls as well. I've got a ways to go! Stay safe.
