Kevin King Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 (edited) I posted this one before the great crash. But here it is again. The "pruf" (proof) is a play on the guys last name. It's been a while since i've done any tooling. I hate tooling letters. Let me know what ya'll think. Did I mention that I hate tooling letters? David is the King at that. Ambassador pete Posted January 7, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted January 7, 2008 BEAUTIFUL lettering! What weight leather is that and how do you cut/bevel them? Are they beveled on each side and with a REALLY wide, flat, beveler? I can't tell from the black/reflection. pete Quote
Contributing Member rdb Posted January 7, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted January 7, 2008 Clean stitching, and binding. Tooling looks great, especially for the thin leather! Quote Web page Facebook

Its probly too thick, but its all i had at the time. The tooling is an inverted bevel on the lettering, and I kept it simple with the scroll work by using only my swivel knife. This wallet was real pretty before I put the !@#% black dye all over it. KK Quote The second kick from a jackass is of no educational value. ETW Grumpy Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Kev, I had to buy a spool of orange for a job, still not my favorite color. :-) It's good to be back. When I get my shop straightened up, I hope to be able to show some more stuff. Quote
