I posted this one before the great crash. But here it is again.

The "pruf" (proof) is a play on the guys last name.

It's been a while since i've done any tooling. I hate tooling letters. Let me know what ya'll think.

BEAUTIFUL lettering! What weight leather is that and how do you cut/bevel them? Are they beveled on each side and with a REALLY wide,flat, beveler? I can't tell from the black/reflection.

Clean stitching, and binding. Tooling looks great, especially for the thin leather!

This leather is pretty thick, i believe 5-6 oz. Its probly too thick, but its all i had at the time. The tooling is an inverted bevel on the lettering, and I kept it simple with the scroll work by using only my swivel knife. This wallet was real pretty before I put the !@#% black dye all over it.

I really dig this!! the stitching color looks great against the black, what color is it?

Orange. I think orange is beginning to be my fav color.

Kev, I had to buy a spool of orange for a job, still not my favorite color. :-) It's good to be back. When I get my shop straightened up, I hope to be able to show some more stuff.
