jayjay Report post Posted January 21, 2014 So the name of my leather shop is MotherGoose Custom Leather so I made this wallet for myself. I thought it was funny that a goose has blackened a cow's eye and taking it back to the workshop to make some fine leather goods. As always made from Herman Oak and laced with kangaroo

josiahmd Report post Posted January 21, 2014 cool wallet! seeing how the card slots are on one piece of leather as opposed to individual pieces stitched....whats behind them that stops the cards at the upper end from slipping down behind the rest of the cards? or do they just stay in place on their own? TXAG Report post Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) That is nice. I'm about to start on my wallet and I can't decide whether I want to do a smaller design on each side or one larger design across the whole wallet (i.e. like yours where you can only really see it well with it opened up flat...) Anyone have any opinions on that? I'm afraid if I do one larger design, it won't look right unless it's opened up fully. If it depends on the design, it would be an intricate design of my alma mater's official seal...or possibly something similar to my avatar... jmann8686 Report post Posted January 22, 2014 nice work. The design is awesome. I do believe it was your design I modeled my wallet from and you were kind enough to share how the card slots work. I have made two wallets for myself with that style of Inside and it has not failed me yet. So thank you for that.

J Allen Report post Posted January 24, 2014 Hey Jay, Here's a little tip to make the interior side of the lacing look better. Take your modeling tool and use the spoon to push the pooched out leather at where the lace was pulled through the slot to kind of tuck it back into the slot. This will make the interior look cleaner and finished. Hope this helps!.
