Look at all the machines in this country that stratch and smooth out a penny andactualy stamp something else on it. The main point is that the principals can be used for any metal disc to turn it into a concho. If you don't know how to silver solder, use JB weld to attach a female end of a chicago screw to the disc. Studio-N Report post Posted February 11, 2014 I have used JB weld to attach a chicago screw to the back of a domed coin. Worked out real well. But I will say the concho itself is not under a lot of stress either. BTW, you can get the doming kit at harbor freight. Cheers and GOOD JOB Pitman.
