Any Reliable Canadian Retailers?

I have looked at tandy, but a lot of their products are marked up by 50-150% compared to other retailers like Springfield (customer service haven't sent me a reply on a few questions I had). Are there any fellow Canadians that know of any shops that sell leather tools and leather at a reasonable cost.

I live in the greater toronto area. I found zackwhite.com and think they should work for what I'm looking for. If u have any mortar shops that you know of I'd be happy if you would share them.

It really isn't in your neck of the woods, but I went here a few times:

They are more geared towards commercial clients (i.e. cobblers and such), but the two times I went there they were pretty nice folks.

There is Buckskin Leather in Calgary @ 5220 1 A street S.E., 403-253-3459. They have a large selection of hides at reasonable prices for Canada.

Longview Leather has just bought out Caledon Sales, which was an excellent leather supply company in Calgary. We'll how to see how that goes but here is there website: http://longviewleather.com/

I can vouch for Don at Longview (and now Caledon). Great customer service and very knowledgeable. Very good prices too.

Tandy is okay in a pinch.

I had a terrible experience with Lonsdale leather on Vancouver. Do not recommend them, which is unfortunate since they are so close to me.
