LTC Report post Posted April 30, 2014 wouldn't surprise me if it's one of those "secrets" no one wants to divulge. i've asked in other places before and no one would cough up their sources.....i know they're available on ebay, but those are all (all the ones i've seen) cheap asian crappy buckles so i won't buy them because i don't want to put a cheap, imported, crap buckle on any watchband i make. Matt T Report post Posted April 30, 2014 Why get hung up on whether it is made in America? Go to Alibaba, perhaps? You can buy cheap crap from Asia, or you can buy nice stuff made in Asia. LTC Report post Posted April 30, 2014 well that sucks. looks like there is a market there if anyone were to have the motivation to fill it..... might try looking around on watchuseek.com and see if anyone has any sources there. i'd read threads on there about buckles previously without much info given, but that was some time ago. i saw these deployant clasps that look really nice... http://www.mywatchmaker.net/deployantclasp.htm but the website is rather silent on where they're made.
