Members johnv474 Posted May 31, 2014 Members Report Posted May 31, 2014 Which part causes the problem--the width of the stem or the resting of your finger on top? If its the handle, you could wrap it in tape until it is much thicker. You could also look for a masonry chisel that is about 1/2" wide at the tip and has a big foam handle. That is not a perfect solution but it can be sharpened to be the same shape. How to actually swivel, though, may just require creating new methods, perhaps using two hands to guide. Quote
Members rosiart Posted May 31, 2014 Members Report Posted May 31, 2014 http://www.tanglefoottraders.com/#!__tangleboss_swivelknife I don't know if this would help but I find it easier to use than a regular knife. It seem to take less pressure when cutting. Quote Rosemary RosiArt's Blog
Members Ken Cook Posted May 31, 2014 Members Report Posted May 31, 2014 That "TangleBoss" is cool. I couldn't find the price, but I have to have one. I'm talking about the link in the last post. I was going to suggest looking at Springfield leather. I saw an exact-o knife handle that holds a swivel knife blade. Maybe you could use that to make something more comfortable than a regular swivel knife. You could probably call them to see what's available. They show to have 40 years experience. Someone there should have arthritis. Good Luck, Ken Quote
