Substitute For Swivel Tool ? Need Help In Finding Another Way

I have bad arthritis unable to handle swivel tool anymore. Is their another way or another tool for me to use ? email mail me at ltdreamer@hotmail.com

Which part causes the problem--the width of the stem or the resting of your finger on top? If its the handle, you could wrap it in tape until it is much thicker. You could also look for a masonry chisel that is about 1/2" wide at the tip and has a big foam handle. That is not a perfect solution but it can be sharpened to be the same shape. How to actually swivel, though, may just require creating new methods, perhaps using two hands to guide.

I don't know if this would help but I find it easier to use than a regular knife. It seem to take less pressure when cutting.

That "TangleBoss" is cool. I couldn't find the price, but I have to have one. I'm talking about the link in the last post.

I was going to suggest looking at Springfield leather. I saw an exact-o knife handle that holds a swivel knife blade. Maybe you could use that to make something more comfortable than a regular swivel knife. You could probably call them to see what's available. They show to have 40 years experience. Someone there should have arthritis.

I have issues with the hands also,I have thought about sharping up my engraver or trying the dremel it may not work anyone else try it

YouTube power mallet. Not sure the cost but looks like it does a decent job.
