Casey (leathercat) aged 10 and myself both got first place for our wrapped and braided bracelets in the jewelery sections. Casey got first place in the junior section for one of her space paintings and i got second and third for my space paintings. In the open leather section there were only three entries and two of them were mine!!. The other person got first place for a handmade pair of shoes. My masks got second and third. I really wish there had been many more entries, but not this year. Seeing Casey SOOOOOO proud was worth suffering the crowds and the heat. "Oh Please, mom, you have an airbrush! I don't care what colors you use!" I told her maybe after church tomorrow...who cares if she is purple for school on Monday?
