Members JAZZMAN Posted March 23, 2015 Members Report Posted March 23, 2015 I too get a bit disillusioned when i see work of this calibre , absolutely stunning. Quote
Members chriscraft Posted March 24, 2015 Author Members Report Posted March 24, 2015 Thanks, I haven't been doing leatherwork as long as some may think. I do have many years of experience in many other art mediums and most of those skills apply to leatherworking. Still need to build up my figure carving tool assortment as I still feel limited by what current tools I have. I'm getting good results and sometimes less is more as it applies in this case. Members YinTx Posted June 12, 2015 Members Report Posted June 12, 2015 Chriscraft, Unbelievable work. Your stitching is pretty nice too, and really adds to the piece. And can you tell us where you got your Hermann Oak labels? YinTx Quote
Members chriscraft Posted June 12, 2015 Author Members Report Posted June 12, 2015 Thanks. About those HO hang tags, they were not easy to acquire. Turns out they are only given from the tannery when one orders premium A grade leather. I just started ordering direct from HO tannery a few months ago. Quote
Members chriscraft Posted June 21, 2015 Author Members Report Posted June 21, 2015 Another Dry Fly pattern. I really enjoy tapping these one-of-a-kind fishing lures. Quote
Members Oldtoolsniper Posted June 22, 2015 Members Report Posted June 22, 2015 I am inspired to give it a try, your work is impeccable! Quote
Members Colt W Knight Posted July 19, 2015 Members Report Posted July 19, 2015 Thanks. About those HO hang tags, they were not easy to acquire. Turns out they are only given from the tannery when one orders premium A grade leather. I just started ordering direct from HO tannery a few months ago. How does one go about ordering direct from the tannery, do you have to place large orders? Quote
Members FDRAKE44 Posted February 5, 2016 Members Report Posted February 5, 2016 That's wonderful. Really good job. My compliments to the artist. Quote
