Members Quillleather Posted July 16, 2014 Members Report Posted July 16, 2014 I am going to re design the belt loop on the back. There is too much stitching. I plan to simplify. Quote
Members billybopp Posted July 16, 2014 Members Report Posted July 16, 2014 Really nice! I've gotta try molding some time. Quote
Members Rohn Posted July 16, 2014 Members Report Posted July 16, 2014 Those look great. Nice work. Quote
Members DavidL Posted July 16, 2014 Members Report Posted July 16, 2014 looks great. The stitching on the back looks good for the brown on brown. I think it would look cool if the stitching on the back for the two straps is \ for left / for right then have the stitch end right underneath the large rivet cap by having the line of stitching go back the other way. The clasp that you used you hole punch the leather, place the clasp in, then twist on the back with chicago screw type bolts? Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted July 17, 2014 Members Report Posted July 17, 2014 Very nice! I always like those molded leather pouches. Quote
Members thefanninator Posted July 17, 2014 Members Report Posted July 17, 2014 Nice molding. How about a shot of your mold? Quote

MikeG Posted July 18, 2014 Report Posted July 18, 2014 I know the stitching is extra work, but I consider well done stitching to be the icing on the cake, and a major difference between good and great. Members dtmdtm12 Posted July 20, 2014 Members Report Posted July 20, 2014 Molding is brilliant. I will have to go buy myself some c-clamps. Quote
Members silverwingit Posted July 21, 2014 Members Report Posted July 21, 2014 I do a fair amount of molding for some of my harmonica cases. I can tell you that it is ~very~ difficult to get that smooth of a result with that deep of a mold, using that heavy weight of leather. Very nicely done!! Michelle Quote

Members SmokeCigars Posted July 29, 2014 Members Report Posted July 29, 2014 If only I wasn't in my apartment and had easy access to my woodworking equipment. Seeing your pouches makes me very jealous. Quote
