Members Andies Tack Posted August 6, 2014 Members Report Posted August 6, 2014 Hi Everyone....haven't posted in a while cause I've been so busy on making horse tack and tanning hides. So thought I'd stop in and pot some new pictures. The snakes have been crawlin' and I've been taken them out as fast as I can. lol.... These are 3 Timber Rattlers ....and a few of my Diamond Backs and Copperheads Quote

Members Hi Im Joe Posted August 6, 2014 Members Report Posted August 6, 2014 Your work is really really nice. Great Job! Quote
Members Quillleather Posted August 7, 2014 Members Report Posted August 7, 2014 Very nice work. Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted August 7, 2014 Members Report Posted August 7, 2014 Sweet! I especially like the one with the stingray. I really want to try tanning my own snake skins, but at this point, I'd have to kill them with my teeth. Also.... I haven't seen a snake since I moved away from Texas. I guess I'll just go back to trying to convince my brothers to tan the copperheads they kill. Quote
Members Double Daddy Posted August 8, 2014 Members Report Posted August 8, 2014 Beautiful work! Quote
Members Andies Tack Posted August 8, 2014 Author Members Report Posted August 8, 2014 Thank you everyone This one is still in the process of making, but I think it's gonna be really pretty. Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted August 8, 2014 Members Report Posted August 8, 2014 Ooh, I love that. Is that alligator, or embossed cow? Either way, it's very pretty. Quote
Members Andies Tack Posted August 9, 2014 Author Members Report Posted August 9, 2014 The teal green is a gator print on embossed cow...I'll have a real gator set coming out very soon. Quote
Members lionfly Posted August 10, 2014 Members Report Posted August 10, 2014 These are gorgeous! My sister would die for the peacock work Quote
Members Andies Tack Posted August 14, 2014 Author Members Report Posted August 14, 2014 Thank you ....I just finished this one also. It has one of the rattle snake hides I tanned in it for inlays. I wanted to do something different than a normal "flat" colored stain. So I got creative with two different types of my stains, and came up with this. Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted August 14, 2014 Members Report Posted August 14, 2014 That looks amazing! Quote
