Members robb01 Posted September 3, 2014 Members Report Posted September 3, 2014 First wallet I've made, and only the fifth piece I've ever made. Really enjoying learning and trying out new pieces. Be Gentle Quote
Members builderofstuff Posted September 3, 2014 Members Report Posted September 3, 2014 The stitching looks really good. A lot of folks look hard at the edges and how smooth they are, but as a beginner I'm sure that you'll pick that up in no time. Overall I really like the work. I would say you did a really good job on it. Chris Quote
Members the gafer Posted September 3, 2014 Members Report Posted September 3, 2014 Stitching is spot on the edges of the leather just need attention burnish them by putting a smidge of water on then use your slicking tool till the edges are hard and shiny then put some tan kote on that's the way i do it but others have different ways i am sure they will be willing to help you out but overall bloody good Quote
Members Aurelie Posted September 3, 2014 Members Report Posted September 3, 2014 really neat stitching and yes next line of improvement is the edges but as said above = quite easy to get to do keep going Quote
Members DoubleC Posted September 3, 2014 Members Report Posted September 3, 2014 I really like the wallet and like the others were distracted by the edges. Good luck. Cheryl Quote
