Ambassador The Major Posted January 23, 2008 Ambassador Report Posted January 23, 2008 Very nice seat. I still can't get over you using motor oil, but hey if it works right, who am I to say anything. Keep em comin! Quote
Members Hidemechanic Posted January 23, 2008 Members Report Posted January 23, 2008 Hope that Valvoline is non-D, don't that nasty stuff washing the red out of the eyes, Nyuk nyuk. Ya know that's about what they mix in neetsfoot compound, right. Lookin good.. GH Quote
Members bustedlifter Posted January 23, 2008 Author Members Report Posted January 23, 2008 Thanks. Steve, that's an idea but I don't know if someone would want a bunny on a seat, smoking or not, maybe Major, the motor oil puts the type of surface finish on it that I like. It's not slick at all ,slick when you grab the throttle is not a good thing! Hidemechanic, it's racing oil so I'm pretty sure it's non detergent.I run it in my shovelhead in warm weather so I usually have some around. Quote
