A little Fiebing's black oil dye followed by a couple of hand rubbed applications of 60w Valvoline topped off with Fiebing's Aussie conditioner.

Very nice seat. I still can't get over you using motor oil, but hey if it works right, who am I to say anything. Keep em comin!

Hope that Valvoline is non-D, don't that nasty stuff washing the red out of the eyes, Nyuk nyuk. Ya know that's about what they mix in neetsfoot compound, right.

Thanks. Steve, that's an idea but I don't know if someone would want a bunny on a seat, smoking or not, maybe

Major, the motor oil puts the type of surface finish on it that I like. It's not slick at all ,slick when you grab the throttle is not a good thing!

Hidemechanic, it's racing oil so I'm pretty sure it's non detergent.I run it in my shovelhead in warm weather so I usually have some around.
