The title says it all, It is simple enough that all you need is a knife and some leather to make it. No sewing, No rivets. I am thinking of taking this down to a smaller scale with a thinner leather, then skiving off a bit to make the tab less bulky on the back. If you burnish it all once its together you could make a pretty decent ring without any bulky rivets or sew lines.

The bracelet laid out

Close up of the tab in place.

Another angle. (sorry for the blur)

Should I be a hand model?

(sidenote- I didnt burnish the sides here, I like the freshly cut look, just seems more beefy.)

looks really good and very ingenious way of closing it. Only thing I would suggest is picking up an oval punch to make the hole a little more even instead of punching multiple round holes

I look forward to v2 using the oval punch ;)

I have a couple of different sizes, they are very handy for a lot of things like guitar straps and stitchless bags using strips :)

I like that idea!

I really like it. I once made an oval punch by sharpening one end of a piece of tubing then flattening it in the vise.
