Members MonicaJacobson Posted October 4, 2014 Members Report Posted October 4, 2014 Wow, that is seriously pink. Your family is very lucky. I'm absolutely not going to tell my family how generous you are, they'd be jealous. That pigskin lining looks really nice.. gives it a quality look. Members Dan28 Posted October 6, 2014 Author Members Report Posted October 6, 2014 thanks Moni\ca. Its a Christmas gift so my neice doesn't even know about it yet. The Ox Blood one is for my little sister. I did a similar one for my nephew, but have gotten a little better and a few more tools since then. I'm making all my Christmas presents this year. Everything I make is for me or friends and family. Maybe some day I may sell some stuff, but no plans for that right now. Quote
Members lwika16 Posted March 4, 2015 Members Report Posted March 4, 2015 Hi Dan, I love the color of the pink bag! Did you oil the leather after you dyed it or did you just finish it with the resolene? I bought the Angelus Light Rose but when I use neatsfoot oil on it, it turns it into an almost reddish color. Though that was just a couple hours ago so maybe when it's fully dry it'll return to more of the pink...? Thank you for your help! Lori Quote
Members SantaFeMarie Posted March 6, 2015 Members Report Posted March 6, 2015 Very nice. Hand or machine stitching? Quote
Members TheCyberwolfe Posted March 11, 2015 Members Report Posted March 11, 2015 "...Everything I make is for me or friends and family." With work of this quality, I suspect you're going to find yourself with a lot of new friends once these bags start making the rounds.
