Evo160K Posted December 5, 2014 Report Posted December 5, 2014 Hi Frankqv, Finding parts for the 45K machines is a challenge for sure. I'm pulling my hair out looking for a right presser foot and other parts for my 45K25. If you're going to make presser feet, would you want some additional work? Quote
Frankqv Posted December 5, 2014 Author Report Posted December 5, 2014 If i make a few I will rough out some Blanks for the K53 and finish them as I need them.I'll let you know if I decide to do that.To those that are considerably more Knowledgeable than me,would it be possible to machine a new presser bar,and finish the end to take more common pressers? Frankqv Posted December 6, 2014 Author Report Posted December 6, 2014 That's fine. Thanks Frank. Won't the pressers from a GA5 fit the K25 Quote
Evo160K Posted December 6, 2014 Report Posted December 6, 2014 (edited) I don't know. I'll check. What is a GA5? Thanks Frank Edited December 6, 2014 by Evo160K Quote

Frankqv Posted December 11, 2014 Author Report Posted December 11, 2014 Attached is the new left Presser I made for the K53,also a pic of the one that came with it. The one that came with it is Bronze, the new one is 6061-T65 Alloy, about twice the tensile. Works like a charm, feeds very well. Also working on a regular presser, just have to machine the needle slot. and a new needle plate/feed plate is a work in progress Attached is the new left Presser I made for the K53,also a pic of the one that came with it.
