Cogs Report post Posted December 29, 2014 It's been a year and a half since I last did a leather project. And what does it happen to be? A cigarette pouch! (I quit smoking 3 months ago!) Only wanted to smoke when I got frustrated a couple of times. Otherwise, I really enjoyed a little leather work again. My treat to a dear friend. One piece, one sew. Can wear it on a belt, or, as she will do, carry it in her purse.
hobbihorse Report post Posted December 29, 2014 Very nice. With a little size adjustment, this would be a cool design for a cell phone case, as well. Hobbihorse
Eccho Report post Posted December 29, 2014 I really like that design. Is it an original pattern or is it available somewhere?
Cogs Report post Posted December 30, 2014 I went through several ideas before coming up with that design. Tried searching for patterns but wanted a 1 piece design that included the lighter. So, kept working on my own ideas. Sewing wasn't too easy but made it using an awl and needle nose. I transferred the folded paper cutout onto a thin plastic cutting board material in order to save the pattern.
