Plain brown waist pouch using 3mm vegetable tanned leather and hand stitched with hand twisted natural linen.

Thought I make a plain one and let the thread stands out.

What do you think?

I like it.

Bold and simple. I'm a fan of clean lines.

Cheers,

Thank you

The finishing is kind of a DIY brew. It's powdered dye in spirit (80% brown witn 20% black). Then the leather is coated with clear acrylic after burnishing and a final coat of wax.

Thank you Tom.

There's no hidden leather in the bag. You can see all the pieces there :D

Thank you

The first stitch and a few needles in the stitch holes is enough to hold the pieces together for stitching. Rubber band helps too.

Here's a tutorial that I did a long time a go. You can have a look if you are interested.

Just had a look at your tutorial. Perfect. As you've shown, pre-punching the stitch holes makes everything work. Can you tell us a little more about the thread type and needle size. I'm still trying to improve my hand stitching so any additional tips you can give will be appreciated.

Cheers and well done!
