Can you tell us a little more about the thread type and needle size. I'm still trying to improve my hand stitching so any additional tips you can give will be appreciated.

The thread is hand twisted using natural single strand thread. It's the same as a 18/3 thread when done. The needle is a normal no. 1 saddler's needle.

When stitching, you have to be consistent with the placement of the needle and thread for every stitch. You have to make sure the lay of the thread is the same for every stitch. The tension on the thread have to be consistent too. A lot of practice helps.

that looks awesome man. is there any place online with a tutorial for making those type of pouches? i've been really wanting to learn lately, i know it involves joints and stuff.

Hey wanna say thanks again for the tutorials that you have written. Those are really good with great pics. Very useful info.
