MADMAX22 Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 Hey guys, I emailed the photographer of the photo and he sent me a reply. This was the answer and a translation via computer Gracias Corey por tus palabras. La foto llamada "Artesano" fue tomada en Santander (España) durante una feria de artesanía antigua hace dos años. Creo recordar que el artesano era argentino. Siento no poder daros mas detalles sobre esa persona. Un saludo Jose A Gallego Thanks Corey by your words.the called photo "Artisan" was taken in Santander (Spain) during a fair of old craft two years ago. I believe to recall that the artisan was Argentine.feel not to be able to give you but details on that person.a saludoJose TO Spaniard Quote
RustyMelton Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 Thanks Tom, great picture. Leather wizard, I like the sound of that. Quote
HorsehairBraider Posted February 4, 2009 Report Posted February 4, 2009 Your computer did a pretty good job of translation! At the end though he is saying, "I'm sorry I can't give you more details about this person", I think that's a little closer to what he meant. Also at the start, he is saying, "Thank you for your words" or we might say "Thanks for writing", not "by your words". Amazingly close for a computer! What a cool guy, both the Leather Wizard and the photographer for writing back. It's a wonderful photograph. That's one I'd hang on the wall.
