Presser Foot Tracks

Recommended Posts

I am just learning to use this sewing machine. I am getting presser foot marks on my belts. The presser foot does not adjust. Is there a way to eliminate the marks? post-16484-0-11425400-1435956221_thumb.j

Wow, those are DEEP. Is your leather dry when you sew? Any moisture left in the belt can make your presser foot become basically a beveler tool. What machine do you have that doesn't adjust at all?

That does look like the leather is wet. If not, that thing is squashing down on the leather with some serious force.

I think you will get a better answer if you let everyone know what machine you are using and a pic is always priceless when looking for help

Good luck
