JustinBrown8 Report post Posted July 4, 2015 (edited) Just finished these guys, only problem is the resolene keeps streaking. I diluted 50/50 with water and applied a light coat, not sure what the problem is. Its very subtle but still noticeable. Any suggestions will help as I am still a beginner! Thanks! DoubleC Report post Posted July 4, 2015 It won't streak if you use a boar bristle brush or some other kind of cheap one and brush the bubbles out going in all different directions. Cheryl
Halitech Report post Posted July 4, 2015 If you have the room and access to one, get a small compressor and air brush for your resolene, you won't get any streaks that way

Bruce H Report post Posted July 7, 2015 I like em! Did you have to skiv the leather in order to rivet these?
LumpenDoodle2 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 Would you dilute the resoline for spraying?
JustinBrown8 Report post Posted July 7, 2015 I like em! Did you have to skiv the leather in order to rivet these? I skyved the keychain flaps but not the wallet! Thanks! Would you dilute the resoline for spraying? Yes, I mixed a 50/50 mixture and it's still streaking, i am going to try different brushes, so far the really dense foam brushes are streaking and so are sponges.
