Members tboyce Posted July 9, 2015 Members Report Posted July 9, 2015 I've been thinking of investing in a rivet setting machine but the machine and the dies are so expensive. Surely someone has run across a less expensive option or supplier out there. If you have, I'd appreciate some advice Thanks Tom Quote
Members cgleathercraft Posted July 9, 2015 Members Report Posted July 9, 2015 Here is what I have. use it for line 20/24 snaps and 10mm rivets. I will use it for more when I have a need and buy the dies. I bought the package deal - setter with 3 dies (that you get to pick). Quote http://www.cgleathercraft.com Member of the Iron Brigade.
Members Oldtoolsniper Posted July 10, 2015 Members Report Posted July 10, 2015 I'm using that same one as well. I called and orderd mine, tell them you are from this site and he will set you up for leather related rather than bling for jeans. Quote

Members retiredff Posted November 29, 2015 Members Report Posted November 29, 2015 Has anyone modified an arbor press to use these dies? What size holes do I need? From their web site the bottom die requires a hole and the upper die is threaded (1/4-20 or?) I would buy their press but if I can use my arbor I save some $$ Thanks Quote
