Members PMAZZIO Posted July 21, 2015 Members Report Posted July 21, 2015 Started this post in 2012 and could never get the pictures to upload, hope it works this time. I have these saddles in a room I hardly ever go into so it has slipped my mind but they are so beautiful I really wanted to share them. According to Ellis not many have ever seen these particular saddles. I acquired these saddles from Ellis Barnes of the Legendary G&H tool company. These were made for ellis and his wife as a present from Al and Ann. They are unridden and really quite something, the one made for Ellis is a storyline of a stallion. Please enjoy them! Quote

Members BondoBobCustomSaddles Posted July 22, 2015 Members Report Posted July 22, 2015 I remember when you originally posted about them. I wondered what had happened. Glad you were able to get back and post the pics. They are without a doubt prime examples of their work. Be sure to keep them in the great shape they are currently in. They are museum pieces for sure. Bob Quote

I may call the Stohlman Museum about putting them there, much better then them sitting under a blanket in my spare room. Quote

Members capsterdog Posted July 31, 2015 Members Report Posted July 31, 2015 They are beautiful. The sure show the true talent of Al and Ann, I read somewhere she did most of the hand stitching on the saddles, don't know if it is true. They sure do belong in the museum. Thanks for letting us see them. Quote
Members ChrisMajoue Posted August 6, 2015 Members Report Posted August 6, 2015 Beautiful! capsterdog - I have read the same thing, Ann hand sewed most of the saddles for Al. Amazing Quote
