Members amh421 Posted July 23, 2015 Members Report Posted July 23, 2015 I posted this belt on the forum last year sometime- I'm finally ready to sell it... It's listed on eBay here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Handmade-Tooled-Carved-Western-Belt-Herman-Oak-Leather-USA-/221821175575? I wanted to keep it, as it's my first completed project, but it doesn't fit me... I didn't intend on keeping it anyway and I don't want to give it away! Am I crazy ask $145 for it?? Anyone interested- make an offer!
Thor Posted July 23, 2015 Report Posted July 23, 2015 What ever you ask is up to you. If you believe it's worth that much, than this is it. Hopefully a buyer will think the same. Personally I'm seeing it more in the $95 range, but I've seen other belts not as good being offered for $200.
Members Constabulary Posted July 23, 2015 Members Report Posted July 23, 2015 has nothing to do with the belt but I´d chose a different photo background. I don´t think this table is very representative - I guess you know what I mean when you look at the last 4 pictures.
Members amh421 Posted July 23, 2015 Author Members Report Posted July 23, 2015 Thanks for the feedback- I dropped the price... Yeah the table has been worked over lol, but I'll leave the pics as they are for now.
Members Troy Burch Posted July 23, 2015 Members Report Posted July 23, 2015 The tooling looks good except for the lack of decorative cuts. The more expensive belts are usually sewn and have a backing which you have not mentioned. I can't see the edges well but they're usually very nice also. If you want to post the size of the belt for potential customers keep the zero where it is and measure to the center hole. The price will probly be determined by the demand.
