dfrensdorff Report post Posted September 8, 2015 Hello All ... I have a Cowboy 3200, and I have a queston re. stitching several layers. For instance, when stitching several layers putting together a wallet, the stitch seems to disappear into the leather like it is too tight.....My thread tensions are all the way backed off......I have been experimenting with different tensions etc.....When I stitch a single layer or two lighter layers, the stitch is real nice....thick seems to make the stitch shorter and sucked up into the leather.......any suggestions or adjustments to make. Thanks........Don
The Dawg Club Report post Posted September 8, 2015 Have you tried to adjust stitch length?
25b Report post Posted September 8, 2015 (edited) Gee, I mentioned this exact same problem with my own CB3200 a while back... Nevermind. I have a migraine right now and don't have the patience to do this right now... I sent you a PM... Edited September 8, 2015 by 25b
Northmount Report post Posted September 8, 2015 Try reducing both tensions together if the thread is being pulled into/below the surface of the leather. Tom
dfrensdorff Report post Posted September 8, 2015 Have you tried to adjust stitch length? Yes, and that does help, but still get the "sucked up stitch" look......I'll keep experimenting .... There has to be a combination of tensions that will work.
