SLC is making their own liners in house. Has anyone used them. Curious as to the quality of them etc.

Don't get these confused with the Chinelli.

I got a few a while back.... had to try them out. Actually, I found them too thick, and they didn't have a particularly quality feel. Now, I didn't order one of everything, but I wouldn't order any more of the 6-pocket or 4-pocket card versions I tried out. If you've ever seen tandy's "mission grain" pig, it's basically that same texture, but considerably thicker. My opinion, TOO thick for a wallet.

I've made a lot of my own over time, but I was actually hoping they were going to be able to handle that FOR me. Perhaps down the road ...

I've used them, same comments as JLSleather. I bought a consew just for sewing wallet interiors, and I design my own on Inkscape. I prefer it that way. Their liners were ok, just not quite the quality I was looking for.

I also tried the CF line they carry, nice but way too pricey and they are way to thick.

I've designed mine to use minimal thin pigskin and use as much faille cloth as possible to keep them slim.

I tried them before they came out with the "lines", they still have the ones I used. This is the one I used in Brown I also tried the black.

I didn't care for the look of those. I did order a couple of the higher priced to see what they looked like.

I prefer making my own but like to see what folks are doing plus a ready source helps if you get real busy.

Received my SLC liners today.

One four pocket wallet in Simply Classic

One Ladies Clutch

The Clutch purse is definitely the better of the two. Quality on the wallet is questionable, it is not their best.

I believe I will continue making my own.

Yep, that's where I was at with it too.
