211G156 Service Manual

Hi all,

I downloaded a copy of a Singer 211G155/156 Service Manual from the web but the copy quality is like a "dirty joke from the '50s"...

Does anyone have a good copy that they could scan the Figures, the text is quite readable but not the images.

i'm in the same boat as you. i've just been looking through my ahem...."service manual." it looks like the copier was on it's last leg.

but i'll +1 your request....does anyone have a readable copy that we can use?

I'm not sure which online version you're looking at to see how bad it is, but the two online versions I've seen are quite nice and readable, actually.

Singer's website has a PDF version of the Singer 211G155/156 Service Manual for download and it's probably as nice as these things get unless you have a pristine hardcopy version to scan. The images could use a bit more grayscale definition, but it takes somebody who's really into scanning to make that happen. I have the gear and know-how to do it, so I'll volunteer my time if somebody has a good hardcopy version I can borrow.

The Singer 211 Illustrated Parts List has nice line drawings.

way to go, uwe. but that first link is the copy i already have. you're right about the gray scale. way too much contrast in those manuals.

i wish i had a pristine copy. i'd be happy to donate.

looks like i'll be googling this one.

I realize this is an old thread but has anyone found a more readable copy of the service manual? The one floating the web rough indeed.
