snubbyfan Report post Posted November 25, 2015 My old digital camera's about 20 or so years old.It still works but the battery cover just broke. Actually, I need a decent digital camera and I decided to dip into my gun funds and get me some updated technology. My old camera used 4 AA batteries, the new one's rechargeable. I figger It'll pay for itself in no time just in battery savings alone. It's a Samsung WB35F. It's small, light and it also takes video. It'll be my CCC, concealed carry camera. Zachary volunteered for a test picture with the new camera.
Northmount Report post Posted November 25, 2015 I have a couple cameras with 4 replaceable AA batteries and a couple with built-in rechargeable batteries. Both have their advantages. If the rechargeable battery runs down when you need it, you are stuck until you can recharge it (unless you have purchased a spare that is kept charged). I have used rechargeable AA as well. They don't last as long as Duracell AA, so need to be replaced/charged more frequently. A new camera is always nice to play with and figure out its nuances. Boriqua Report post Posted November 26, 2015 New camera is always fun but I don't think Zachary was experiencing the same excitement! I will be selling one of my 1911's to purchase a new (used) camera soon. Can only have so many guns right .... right?
