Better Than My First One. At Least The Pistol Fits. Interesting Finish.

Thanks. I'm not entirely happy with the acrylic reslone on top of the two coats of dye. It got some bubbles in it somehow.

That's Resolene that bubbled like that? I never would have guessed that, I would have guessed contact cement. Just out of curiosity what did you glue the leather with before stitching? I've never had resolene do that? Not a bad design though but you're right finish has some issues. I'm sure he'll be thrilled with it regardless of the finish.

Up close (real close) yeah, I can see some "funny things", but from a distance it has an incredible used, aged look about it!

I used barge cement. He was. Next up is a left hand J frame for my father and then a right hand for my J frame and M9.
