Members Jarhead44706 Posted December 22, 2015 Members Report Posted December 22, 2015 Better Than My First One. At Least The Pistol Fits. Interesting Finish. Quote
Members DuncanSinclair Posted December 22, 2015 Author Members Report Posted December 22, 2015 Thanks. I'm not entirely happy with the acrylic reslone on top of the two coats of dye. It got some bubbles in it somehow. Quote
Members dikman Posted December 25, 2015 Members Report Posted December 25, 2015 Up close (real close) yeah, I can see some "funny things", but from a distance it has an incredible used, aged look about it! Quote
Members stu925 Posted December 26, 2015 Members Report Posted December 26, 2015 That's Resolene that bubbled like that? I never would have guessed that, I would have guessed contact cement. Just out of curiosity what did you glue the leather with before stitching? I've never had resolene do that? Not a bad design though but you're right finish has some issues. I'm sure he'll be thrilled with it regardless of the finish. Stu Quote

Next up is a left hand J frame for my father and then a right hand for my J frame and M9. Quote
