Members JREESER1 Posted February 14, 2016 Members Report Posted February 14, 2016 I just read that Tandy's CEO, Jon Thompson resigned on 2/9/16. Maybe some changes are coming? jr Quote

NVLeatherWorx Posted February 14, 2016 Report Posted February 14, 2016 Hopefully it was the "corporate option" that he was offered and that he didn't get away before he could be called out on his shortcomings. Quote
Members Studio-N Posted February 14, 2016 Members Report Posted February 14, 2016 Anyone that knew him knows what a despicable human (and I use the term loosely) he is. I wonder how big a party they had when he left? What they need in his place is a professional business manager, not another inbred family member. Scuttlebutt has it that one reason was JT was upsetting the board with all the family members (7) in management and more in Corp. I think things will improve if they return to where the store employees are thought of as people not as disposable at the cost of profits. Quote
Members Dwight Posted February 14, 2016 Members Report Posted February 14, 2016 My source said he was all but thrown out on his ear, . . . hoping for a bus to get him before he bounced, . . . But we all know how those stories get manipulated to agree with the teller's point of view. He did agree, though, with the earlier post about folks having a party because of the news. My only hope is that this bodes well for us as consumers of their products. May God bless, Dwight Quote
