Johanna Report post Posted December 16, 2008 Darryl, when I get a note that says, "This forum helped me!" it makes all the work worth it. Merry Christmas to you and yours, from Ohio to OZ and everywhere in between. And for those of you who don't celebrate Christmas, may the holiday season be a time of family, friends and laughter, and may the new year bring you good luck! rdb Report post Posted December 16, 2008 Happy Solstice to one and all! After leaving Boston for the MidSouth these 11 years, the Holidays never seemed quite the same. Shopping for trees and gifts in the snow just made it seem right, somehow. But I agree with Darryl, this Forum makes anyplace we live feel like home. Me and mine wish all of you a wonderful family time, and the most happiest time of your life in the New Year.

bruce johnson Report post Posted December 23, 2008 Steve and Joshua, Same from us to you and all of the great folks here. I might however suggest beef on the menu.... Edit - Steve I will however be enjoying a bit of spirits from north of the border - Crown or Pendleton. I see they have a $160 a fifth special Crown Royal (not the Special Reserve), but Rundi tells me "some things you will just have to wonder about". mulefool Report post Posted December 23, 2008 For Christmas my uncle used to cook a rib roast with Yorkshire pudding, green beans, creamed onions, mashed potatoes. I'd wait all year for that great meal. When he passed away nobody carried it on. Maybe none of us thought we could do it justice. Merry Christmas! cem Report post Posted December 24, 2008 Merry Christmas everyone, it had just turned 6pm here and my 10 year old was already in his pyjamas. I have all the tasty meat treats this Christmas as my father in law opened the biggest butcher shop in Western Australia this year so I'll probably be on ham and turkey overload by the end of the holidays. Talk about a mad house though by 7am the carpark was full and we had to put up signs to stop people parking down our service road otherwise they were going to squished by the trucks when they tried to get into the place.
