I think it's going to make one snazzy looking holster.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.

oldnslow, I'm not quite sure what the problem is, I reckon it looks great.

Machines wot I have - Singer 51W59; Singer 331K4; Seiko STH-8BLD; Pfaff 335; CB4500.

Chinese shoe patcher; Singer 201K (old hand crank)

Some weird mottling happened to one of mine. I thought it was ruined and made another one for the customer. Later I showed it to my wife. She thought it looked cool so I finished it and put it on the web page for sale. Two days later a guy bought it for his wife. She thought it looked cool. 

I haven't found a way to duplicate it, though.

I used elephant once. It darkened way more than regular leather when I oiled it.  I won't oil the elephant part of my next elephant holster.

here is the end results for both holsters, please not that I make a larger belt slot in the event that I can up sell and include one of my stainless lined gun belts that have a thicker profile over a different gun belts
