Not sure if their webpage is up to date. They have shelves upon shelves of leather in stock, not much tool wise though. You could spend a fortune in there easily on leather. Some of the best quality I have seen out of most of the shops I have been to including our local tannery (Packers) which always only seems to have 3rd grade leather available. Quote
bikermutt07 Posted November 30, 2016 Report Posted November 30, 2016 have problems with my hands so gloves are not an option for me (lose feeling in them from time to time or they simply let go of what ever I am holding which can be "interesting" when working with knives..main reason I do NOT use a headknife!!) so I will have to deal with using pliars from time to time to pull the needles though and deal with trying not to bleed on the leather lol! And the thread is not that thin its not bad for waxed though actually. Get yourself a bottle of wine. Save the cork and use it to back up your awl. That should save on the sissy juice spills. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
