Members aguilerag Posted January 4, 2017 Members Report Posted January 4, 2017 Just wanted to post a couple wallets I've done this past year. The advice I received here when I was first starting helped me become better and sell better quality products. Thank you too all that gave me critics and advice. Quote
bikermutt07 Posted January 4, 2017 Report Posted January 4, 2017 Wow,, you are producing some really cool wallets. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Members Halitech Posted January 5, 2017 Members Report Posted January 5, 2017 just a personal preference thing but on the koi long wallet, either you should have stitched all the way around or you should have stopped the stitch grove where you were going to stop stitching. By going all the way, it looks incomplete. And since you lined it (or looks that way from the image) it should have been stitched all the way and closer to the edge Quote Every day you learn something is a good day. If you don't learn something every day, was it worth waking up for?
Members Tugadude Posted January 5, 2017 Members Report Posted January 5, 2017 Really like your use of color accents. Nice stuff, a good example of developing your own look. Quote
Members aguilerag Posted January 5, 2017 Author Members Report Posted January 5, 2017 Halitech, I never go closer to the edge than what I do on all the wallets shown. I have not had one person say any have started to split (knock on wood) since I've started selling them. I use to go a bit closer to the edge when I started, and didn't like the way it looked. I totally agree that I should having stopped the stitch groove would have made it look better. I was going to stitch all the way around, that's why I put the groove like that but during the making of it, I sent update photos and she asked if I could stop the stitching up to the insides and not go all the way around. Members aguilerag Posted January 5, 2017 Author Members Report Posted January 5, 2017 Tugadude, thank you. Since the majority of the wallets have been business logos or pictures, I wanted to try to make them stand out in my own way. I love floral/Sheridan patterns, but never get any orders for them lol. Members HavenHillJay Posted January 6, 2017 Members Report Posted January 6, 2017 Man, have to chime in on the color, particularly on the top wallet. Very nice! Quote
