Members shotypua Posted January 21, 2017 Members Report Posted January 21, 2017 Made a couple of things over the weekend... Hand dyed with Pro Dye! Way better than the alcohol based ones. I should have used this on all my projects. Any comments or suggestions are welcome! Thanks for looking! Quote
bikermutt07 Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 Great job. The stitching looks pretty good. My only suggestion would be to dip dye the coin purse. That would eliminate the stain line on the inside of the flap. Keep up the good work. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.

Dye the back or the flap part not the pocket part to keep stiffness down. Also can dye a piece THEN cut out pattern. And it looks good to me. Keep on keepin on. Matt Quote
